Beginning of class1. Enter the classroom promptly and quietly. 2. Place your book bag behind your chair and lunch box on the correct basket 3. Place notes for the teacher inside the “Notes to the teacher” basket.4. Agendas will be used daily in this class. Write what it says under “Home learning and Reminders” in your agenda and leave it out to be checked and stamped. 5. Take out home-learning from the previous night to be checked. 6. Complete your Bell work assignment (usually on the front board).
If you finish your classroom assignment early, Read! You can also go to learning centers.
Fire Alarm If the fire alarm goes off leave your school work and books where they are. Quietly line up and exit the classroom. We will proceed to the assembly point for the school together as a class. Turning in work 1. Work will only be accepted in pencil, unless told otherwise
Pencil Sharpening All six pencils need to be sharpened before coming to class. Restroom/Water/Emergencies/AR We will discuss “signs” for restroom, water, emergencies and AR test. After I acknowledged you, you may go.
Lining UpWe will line up quietly by tables. If I hear noises from the line we will go back to the classroom and repeat the same procedure until we get it right.
