First we went to iTunes and looked over the Podcasts sections. If we wanted some, we clicked on "get episode." Then we put all the episodes into a new playlist. This is what we put on a cd.
Take the CD, select a file, drag to audicity and let it load there.
The audacity program is a free download. Record with a microphone directly into audacity. Save it as a project in audacity before you export it into "wav". Then you can make changes at a later time. In audacity, you have to "stop" the program in order to make the edits -- don't just pause it.
