Welcome to Miami Lakes K-8 Center!
I would like to take this wonderful opportunity to introduce myself as your child’s second grade teacher. My name is Mrs. Mas and I am honored to have your child in my class.
We have a very busy and exciting school year in store for us. I am looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. However, I cannot do this alone. We need to be partners in this learning process.
Parents can help by encouraging their child at home to complete their assignments and assuring they are prepared for class each day. Also, listening to your child read, as well as reading with your child at least 30 minutes on a daily basis is very important.
I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-teacher relationship.
